Fitted at the shoulders and arms, in a Cabbages & Roses silhouette, the Dolly coat this season is made from a heritage British waxed cotton. With a buggy lining and beautifully bound seams, this is a coat to be worn across the seasons. With a sweet and smart rounded collar, three tidy little buttons and deep pockets for keeping hands warm and snacks safe, wear it over beautiful dresses to swish through grey days and puddle walks. With over 150 years of experience, the Halley Stevensons mill dyes and finishes waxed and weatherproof cottons in Dundee, UK. Starting with densely woven cotton which has been responsibly sourced it is finished with wax which can be topped up in a similar way to Barbour, giving your coats a beautiful patina as they age. As the fabric is waxed, please expect creases and folds to show slightly as this is the nature of waxed cotton. This can be topped up with additional wax which will build up a beautiful layer which also keeps your coat waterproof and nourished. 

A rare combination of beauty and practicality. Each piece is hand stitched in England by an experienced and talented team at Christi-Anna Lomas, just outside of Cambridge.
