Timeless design

First invented in 2010, the Howard coat is a classic Cabbages & Roses favourite. Beautifully fitted at the shoulders and to the pleated empire line where it is fastened with double breasted buttons. The pleating is repeated at the back. It reaches approximately above ankle length, it is made from practical and beautifully soft dark navy lambs wool which is produced by a beautiful heritage mill in the north of England. Fully lined and a coat to cherish for generations to come. Part of our British tailoring collection. Model is 5'9 and a UK size 10.

Made in a heritage British mill which has operated for over 185 years, this sturdy yet soft merino lambswool is processed, dyed and finished in England. The fabrics are scoured (washed) with the soft water flowing locally to the mill and the process from the start to end is completed on site.

Each piece is hand stitched in England by an experienced and talented team at Christi-Anna Lomas, just outside of Cambridge.
